There are many forces in my past that have shaped me into who I am today. The most important on is music. Music is my oassion and my entire life. I am always listening to music or playing it. And drumming to me is something that i will enjoy forever and hope to pass my love on to my kids and many others as I begin to teach and grow older. My friends have also helped to make who I am today. I consider myself to be a very sociable person and I love to be with friends and do the variety of many fun and exciting things that we do. Some of them even helped to get me into a sport that i now love. Sports have been one thing that i have been enjoying since i was barely able to speek. I am always active and keepin myself in shape. I run cross country and I play tennis. Cross country has taught me discipline and motivation because when i'm having a bad day i releive stress by running and when it gets tough and I don't wanna run anymore i have to keep pushing to make myself srtonger. My Parents have been great role models and have helped me grow to be a respectful young man. My morals and beleifs all originate from them. They have never lead me astray and will always be there for me no matter what. They told me in order for me to get a car i had to work. Which leads me to the next two on my list of forces that have shaped me. I am currently employed at Marino's Pizza and Pasta house and I love working there. I have learned to think on my feet quickly and also how to deal with tough situations. My work ethic before working was poor but has quickly shot up due to the fact of working a lot. I saved every single one of my pay-checks that I have received and saved up to get my car. I purchased my own Lava Red 2005 Mazda6 I Sport. It has taught me the true value of a dollar and extreme responsibility. I love my car and I wash it once a wekk because i want it to be clean and looking its best all the time. Drumming has been one thing in my life that has been my outlet. I am in love with everything about being a percussionist. When i play its like i am in a whole nother world and nothing else can get to me. I become so much happier and i always have a smile on when i play. Partial to music, many of my teachers have had a big impact on me. I have learned that even though they are teachers, you can still grow relations with them. Many of my teachers have helped me when i was struggling and they never give up on you (sometimes unless your a lost cause). And many of my music teachers have and will help me as i continue my journey through life and get my degree as a music educator. Finally, reading has helped me alot. It has taught to imagine things and have a great imagination. I have learned a great deal of knowledge from reading and as i continue to read i will keep learning more and more exciting information. Those are all the things that have shaped me and make me what i am standing in front of you today.
